We work closely with election authorities and stakeholders to apply research findings to strengthen democratic processes. Our approach is data-driven, focusing on improving both academic understanding and practical election management through rigorous analysis. We uphold strong scientific principles, ensuring transparency, integrity, and collaboration in all our work. Remaining strictly nonpartisan, we rely on evidence and scientific methods to offer recommendations that enhance fairness, efficiency, and trust in the electoral system for all citizens.

About the Project
The “Uttar Pradesh Election Analysis” project by Humatrix.Ai under Humatrix Election Lab delivers data-driven political intelligence through constituency-wise analysis, voter sentiment tracking, demographic insights, booth-level trends, and predictive modeling. It helps political parties and strategists make informed campaign decisions, optimize outreach, and improve election planning using advanced AI and analytics.
This initiative focuses on building practical capacity in data analysis, visualization, and predictive modeling by using modern data mining, business intelligence, and machine learning tools. Participants learn how to clean, process, analyze, and present election data effectively to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
The project incorporates a wide range of industry-standard tools and technologies, including:
Weka for data mining and predictive analytics
Python for data analysis, automation, and machine learning
Microsoft Excel for data cleaning and basic analytics
Tableau for interactive dashboards and reports
Microsoft Power BI for business intelligence and data storytelling
Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) for cloud-based reporting
Data wrapper for simple and engaging charts
Chart.js for web-based data visualization
R for statistical computing and visualization
Generative AI for intelligent insights, automation, and content generation
QGIS for geospatial mapping and analysis
Flourish Studio for interactive storytelling and animated visualizations

The Fellow’s role in the “Uttar Pradesh Election Analysis” offers an immersive opportunity for aspiring data professionals to drive transformative change. Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field like Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Data science, Computer science engineering, Business Administration is a strong requirement; experience in election data analysis is an added bonus. We encourage students who are currently enrolled in a master’s program to apply.
Passion for addressing Election challenges and a commitment to social impact.
Note: This is a virtual fellowship program, and all fellows who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate. During the fellowship, the organization will conduct weekly online classes via Zoom on Data, Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. By the end of the program, fellows will gain expertise in the analysis and visualization of election data. To receive the certificate, each fellow must submit a final project at the end of the fellowship.
Applicants must have access to a working laptop and a stable internet connection. We will try to accommodate a few fellows within the organization for in-office opportunities, depending on the availability of funds. Please note that no stipend will be provided during the fellowship period.
